The Dulux Cup

So called because of it's origin, 'officially' the NI School's Old Boys Cup.  The event is held each year on the last Friday in June at Richmond Golf Club, Sudbrook Lane, Petersham, in southwest London.  It is reasonably convenient to the M25 and also the North and South Circular roads.

The day comprises an 18 hole Stableford competition in the afternoon followed by dinner in the evening. The winner of the cup is the school which presents the best total of four cards.  Hardier souls may also play in the morning.

The schools attending generally have their own presentations and in our case the best Instonian scorer receives the Teddy Browne Shield.  The Dulux Cup is currently held by Old Instonians.  Over the years, the main contenders have been Campbell College and Coleraine A.I. in addition to Inst.
